Mission and Ethos
Christ to All
“Go in peace, glorifying the Lord by your life.”
Concluding rites of the Mass
At St Peter’s our mission is to be Christ to All. In the Mass we encounter Jesus in Word and Sacrament. This communion means we are nourished, equipped, and sent to bring him to others through our action and being.
Rocks of St Peter
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.”
Matthew 7:24-25 (ESV)
The Rocks are our Gospel rooted values modelled by Jesus and his disciples. They inspire us every day as we aim to become more like Christ, and are at the heart of our worship and learning.
Love, Courage, Justice, Service and Reflection.
Catholic Social Teachings
CST defines how we express our mission and values in our relationships with others and the wider world. We reflect on the impact of these teachings in daily prayer, discover their real-world applications across the curriculum, and put them into action through charity and leadership.

School Prayer
Heavenly Father,
You are trustworthy and faithful.
You call us like Saint Peter to be steadfast in faith,
bold in action, and to fulfil our true potential.
Forgive us when we hold each other back.
Focus our eyes on those in need and empower us to help.
We thank you for the skills, talents and abilities you give us.
Help us to use them to be Christ to all
and to give our all to Christ.
Amen
