  • Register now for the March 2019 Health and Social Care Careers Open Evening

    The Health and Social Care Careers Open Evening takes place at the Royal Surrey County Hospital on Tuesday 19th March from 5:30pm to 9pm.

    If you are a student in Year 8 or above, come along and find out about the wide range of NHS jobs available to you. Information will be available on both clinical and non-clinical roles.

    • Talk to practitioners about their job

    • Visit the simulation suite, theatre and radiotherapy departments

    • Talk to medical students

    • Find out about careers pathways including apprenticeships

    You must register to be able to attend this event.

    16 lucky Year 10 Spanish students accompanied by Mrs Mortimer and Mr Prats travelled to sunny southern Spain at the end of January 2019 to take part in the third successful exchange with The Cristo De La Yedra School in Granada.

  • Guildford Air Cadets - new recruit intake - 23rd January 2019

    If you are in Year 8 or above and would like to start the New Year with something exciting and different, the Guildford Air Cadets could be for you.

     

    The Air Cadets is a voluntary uniformed youth organisation supported by the Royal Air Force. It provides valuable skills, training and personal development for young men and women aged 12 (and in Year 8) to 20 (although you must join before your 17th birthday).

     

    261 (Guildford) Squadron is one of nearly 1,000 Air Cadet units across the UK. 

     

    As a member of our squadron, there are many activities to participate in including flying, shooting, sports, camping, and support to gain a Duke of Edinburgh award. Our core training also includes recognised qualifications in aviation and leadership.
