Delighted students celebrate GCSE success at St Peter's

There were screams of delight and happiness in the dining hall today as St Peter’s students received their GCSE examination results.  Most will be staying on in our sixth form and others will be attending other colleges.  We would like to express our congratulation to all and wish everyone good luck in their chosen path.  Every year we mark a long journey to results day that is typically illustrated by hard work, dedication and incredible support from staff and families.  This year is no exception and we would like to thank everyone who has worked alongside this year group to help them achieve this level of success.

Our results were:

89% of students achieved five grade 4s or above including English and Maths
75% of students achieved five grade 5s and above including English and Maths
50% of all grades were at grade 7 or above

A special well done to some of our highest attaining students who consistently achieved the top grades: Alen Jose, Tobiasz Mikolajczk, Alexander Holt, Joe Amos, Fintan Smith, Luz Neto, Evie Sherman, Izzie Skelton, Eva Antony and Sam Tedder.

Also we had many students who made excellent progress and overcame challenges to achieve some very credible outcomes.  Well done to Daniel Pretty, Ethan Smart, Brandon Nicholls, Caitlin Chidiobi, Brandon Stiff and Ghaith Almidani.

We are so proud of all our students who we are sure will go on to lead successful and happy lives, in part, due to their GCSE results.  Whichever path they are taking on the next stage of their journey we wish them all the love in the world.
